RE: Multi Remote - Which one......

The pronto can learn IR direct from other devices, but it cannot receive IR as in a 2-way link.
I have a sony 300 disc CD changer and it comes with a 2 way remote so for example, the changer can tell the remote what disc is playing and can upload a list of discs to the remote (or vice versa) that had been saved to it via a slinke or something......
The two way is not essential to the operation (I haven't got it due to the changer being hidden away) but it is a nice to have certainly......

But Tony, I really don't know what I can get with original remote and why it's 2 way. It has small LCD so no graphics, lists etc.

Can Pronto learn IR signals from other devices, or I need to know the codes?

....or just stick with the Sony remote you have which should do 2-way anyway
:-)
