It's been a bit quiet on this, but I've just had another call from my
local
TS....apparently Kodak are claiming the following:

The incorrect price was posted to the site for a 12hr period on 24/12.
This was
promptly removed, however 'someone' copied the page and posted it elsewhere
on
the internet. This was not detected by Kodak until 4/1, at which point they
removed it.

She could not say who the 'someone' was, or where the page was being hosted
(though evidently somewhere where Kodak are able to delete it!)

I explained to TS that I know a bit about web sites, and this really did
not
sound plausible, but she said that this advise had come from Hertfordshire
TS,
and that they would have taken reasonable steps to ensure the information
is
accurate. I'd like to know how, as I think the above statement is complete
bu11$hit.

Anyway, she'd like to hear the outcome once it's been through the small
claims
court.

Pete

PS Even more annoyingly, Royal Mail have lost the recorded letter I sent
Kodak,
so now I've got battle with them as well as send another letter.
