OK I occasioanlly get an initial boot problem with my 3600..here is what you do..you open the battery compartment, slide out the battery, hold it in your warm hands for 5 secs..re-insert the battery..camera works fine. This generally only happens when the camera is really cold. I love my dx3600 so much so that i have ordered the wife a 3700 :)
