Okay..

I made my first foray into ebay, and it has not gone well..

I found a guy selling five cuecats (the little hackable barcode readers
which I inetend to use in a fridge stock application) for the rather
tempting price of $9.99 for the five. No-one else bit, I won, and he has
shipped them by US Surface Mail.

The Guy is claiming that this will take 1-2 months.

Rather than start bitching to VISA, paypal and ebay fraud people, I decided
to check with the USPS to see if this was right. (although 2 months USA-UK
is stretching things a little... from my own experience, Nepal-UK takes
about 12 days, and a letter from Tanzania managed to make the trip in three
weeks)

Then, however, I found this, and almost ended myself laughing.

There is such a thing as "too much info" on official forms, and I
don't
think this girl realised that her question was going to be posted on the
USPS website as part of their Auto-FAQ process...

This *will* wrap, but it's worth it ;)

Ian.
