no cable needed. Simply a 2 ended firewire cable and the software that
comes with winXP and ME to make it an NDIS device that will talk TCP/IP
at 400 megabits :) mmmmm

Most of the list is input peripherals which dont need the high speed
that eve USB1.1 offers. No point making them firewire.

There are Firewire to ATAPI adaptors that allow external CDRW and IDE
drives.
