I have played with dual tech sensors quite successfully, the ones I have
use
jumper pins to allow the LED to be switched for setting up by the
microwave,
PIR or both, i.e. in alarm. The microwave pin is normally not connected so
can be used as an output to switch a Homevision input port, the microwave
section is very sensitive and picks up well before the complete unit
triggers. You get the best of both worlds, a reliable alarm detector and
sensitive occupancy sensor.
