ATM, we have a pretty kack B&Q wireless doorbell.
The rubbery button has to be pressed quite far to ring, which not a
lot of ppl know about, so we miss ppl @ the door.
When the battery is going, there is no indication beyond intermittent
failure to ring.

SWMBO wants it replaced - hell, _I_ want it replaced!

So, does anyone have any recommendations for a wireless doorbell that
works, indicates when the battery is low and (here we get to the HA
side of things to keep it on topic!), preferably is X10 compatible so
I can turn on the porch light or something when the bell rings?

I really don't want to go wired again because neither of us like the
idea of running a wire along skirting boards, around door frames
etc. Floors are bare so no carpet to hide under either....

cheers,

Tony
