RE: TV/Sat Signal Arial/Split & Stuff
Rob,
To answer the "distribution" question - yes - this will work,
but
remember that distribution over RF is the _lowest_ quality. See
http://www.kat5.tv/videoformats.html
for a well-written explanation by
our own Keith Doxey.
On the other hand, if we're talking about a TiVo being fed from a
domestic aerial anyway, the quality of the RECORDING is going to be
limited by the RF it used to get there.
To answer the "which aerial is best" question - the undisputed
king of
the good aerial is Ron Smith Aerials of Luton. They sell, install
(within 100 miles of Luton - which I seem to remember that you're not
:-)), and give free advice over the phone.

Mark

Subject: [ukha_d] TV/Sat Signal Arial/Split & Stuff
Dear All
On to my next phase of HA......
I need to distribute my TV/DVD/SKY/Tivo around the house. If I use the
RF out from Tivo to a distribution amp this I guess will do the job? I
am assuming Tivo will output RF and RGB via scart all at once?
Also can anyone recommend a high quality aerial for standard TV, it
will
be in-loft mounted.
Many thanks
Rob Mouser
