Hi all,

I have build a small application which can help you analyze the serial
protocol for some home devices.
I intend to use it to build and test my own infrared, X10 and other serial
devices.

It includes some specific devices initialization (IrMan infrared receiver,
Creative Infra infrared receiver, CM12 X10 computer interface), but there is
a generic mode where you can initialize everything as you wish.

You can use it even to send X10 commands using low level protocol (for test
purpose). See the example on the site.

If you have infrared receiver interfaces which contain microcontrollers
(like IrMan and Creative Infra) please use this small application to
understand the protocol and then send me this information to include support
for that device in the future releases of the Infrared Remote Manager
(standalone and AutoM8it plugins).
I have no possibilities to get all the available devices to test them
myself.

You can read more about it and download it for free from the well known
locations:
http://www.autom8it.com/dante  or
http://www.geocities.com/tdanro

If you have any suggestions please send me a mail.

Best regards,
Dan
