If you know of an alternative UK supplier, then I would suggest it's
fair
game to tell us (and encourage competition between suppliers), but
comparing
an import to a UK sourced item is not really a fair comparison.
We all know it's cheaper to import these sort of goods from outside the
UK,
but many can't be bothered with it and feel more at home with UK
sourced
items (even if someone else is doing the import and making their living
by
doing so).
I presume a UK sourced item will have the backing of the UK legislation
with
regards to warranty etc... Your imported item may not (I'm no legal
specialist !)
