Re: Cheap control + whole house display

> Andy, where can you find Palm for =A310 ??

It's a case of hunting.  The older Palm models are near worthless thes= e
days.  I was given a free Palm Pilot (yes, the original) a couple of y= ears
ago, and I bought my current Palm V for =A330.  It's a case of scourin= g
second-hand ads.  I don't know of a company that sells them regularly.=

I'd go with the Palm V myself as it is rechargable, has a reasonable size <= BR> screen and a decent backlight.  The Handspring ones are USB as default= ,
but an optional serial cable is available.

You can turn this on/off in software?  That'd be great.  I just h= old down
the power button until it works ATM.

That's very cool!  As a bonus, you could probably sync with your deskt= op
so your diary, address book, etc. is always to hand.  That's probably = more
than you'd need/want though.

That's a great idea!
