Welcome to the list, fellow 'Norn Iron' person

Our glorious leader, Mark McCall, is from Northern Ireland, as am I, and a few others on the list, like Micheal, Dermot and Andrew i think. Each of us have various implementions of home automation, homevision, comfort, homeseer etc... so if you explain your requirements we should be able to show you it working.

Hi all,

I am new to the group, I have been lurking for about a week now!!

I am just about to start planning and building a new home, I plan to install CAT5 everywhere, and would love some automated features in the house.

If it was up to me alone the whole house would be automated, with touchscreen LCD displays in every room etc etc, but there is SWMBO (love the acronym ;) to contend with.

Anyone else from N Ireland? I would love to actually see some of this stuff in action, the comfort security system looks excellent!

Anyway just wanted to say hello.

Simon.

in the 'System Requirements' section,
it said 'Requires Windows 95 or better'.
So I installed Linux."
