Trouble with couplers is that you'd have to crimp on RJ45 plug, go
thru' coupler to another RJ45 crimped to CAT5 then to patch panel.
All x12. Seems like a lot of work if you could put panel at bottom of
rack without doing anything much. You could probably join them in a
Krone box as you've relatively few CAT5's but that might degrade the
characteristics of the cable a bit. Being lazy I'd leave them at the
bottom & use longer patch cords!
