why not just use vb to it
I have a routine somewhere that strips the tags out
of a html page

      AIUI they do (or certainly did) various outputs including JavaScript and
      WDDX.  I had a page at work that got down Legal News in a JavaScript format.
     
      Moreover was free for personal use, but YMMV.
