Des, thank you for voicing your
agreement. Perhaps a large demand does exist but at a lower price. The
manufacturer might want to sample this demand by offering their basic unit
at half the price for one-day only. If they get a big response, which I can
only imagine they will, then everyone is a winner. If the response is luke
warm, then perhaps they are equally aswell selling it at the higher price.
what does this company have to lose? Nothing, but plenty to gain.

nb: If the Meteor people do adjust their price (to half) as a one-day
promotion to sample demand, would someone please mail me.

I would have to say I didn't buy the meteor as it was overpriced. So you
