RE: Tonto, Java and Mandrake

Java for linux is available on www.blackdown.org

These guys are supported by sun and it is the official download for linux
java, unless you would prefer to use kaffe which should already be installed
on your mandrake setup.

Thanks
kieran

Subject: [ukha_d] Tonto, Java and Mandrake

Has anybody tried Tonto yet?  I need some help please. I've got Mandrake
8.2 installed and having installed Tonto it needs JDK.  I've not been
involved with Java before, so where should I get it. I know there are
several.  Foolishly I'd assumed it would be included with Linux.  Any
advice/guidance would be appreciated. Must be JDK 1.3.x or above.

regards, robin
