I actually got my openers from Screwfix (motorlift 5000 - ref D14766, =A317= 9), and
have 2 of em.  Never had any problems, except for the external keypad = leaking
water and going mad.  Not a big problem though, as they're guaranteed = for 5
years when purchased through Screwfix.  Lots of bits to screw together= , so allow
half a day to fit one, and buy a couple of decent mounting brackets (Screwf= ix
ref D11985, 85p) as the ones that come with the opener are a bit feeble, an= d I
worry about having 20kg of motor hanging above my car!

I've tried to find these on the web, but given someones admitted to having<= BR> one, how painful are these things in the wallet?

Be quite handy, but suspect not enough to justify the cost (in my current circumstance)

The garage is currently my dumping zone, but after 2 break ins to my car in=
4 months I am going to have to use it for my new car (as of next weekend)
In this (for manchester) deeply odd hopping out is no issue, but when we ge= t
the usual weather back less back & forth would be good.

On a similar vein anyone use the parking distance sensor/light set as sold<= BR> by letsautomate? ("Park Zone" Car Parking Assistant)

Cheers

A.
