I've had gravity fed 'normal' boilers, and currently got a combi and a
condensing
combi (both Worcester Bosch). I personally like the
condensing combi. I'm convinced it is more efficient and that important
because
where I live we have to use LPG (not mains gas).
Water is real hot, but check the flow rate, and get highest, to minimise
reduced flow when somebody decides to turn other taps on.
Also got caught out with Aqualisa shower, as they have different cartridge
in them for combis. Plumb Centre sent wrong one despite being told,
they
swapped it no arguement but it meant we had to wait for a replacement for
few days. Together works well.

I’ve just been sent a 4 page fax by my architect with questions on
there.
One of them is do I want a combi-boiler for CH and HW or a cylinder system
operating at greater than atmospheric pressure.
