Have this one, and with MouseRemote and maX10 you can do just about anything - no programming needed on a PC (you do need a small MS development tool called spy++ to spy on the software you want to control. Annoying that Homeseer will only talk to the MR26A and not the MK19E (Both are similar products).

Mark,
I'll probably need to write my own driver to integrate it into my homebrew, but this is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for.
Many thanks, it should already be on order by the time you get this :-)

John,
I did reply to your response, but it seems to have vanished into cyberspace.
Again, thanks for the info.

Your best bet maybe something like http://www.letsautomate.com/10221.cfm?CFID=432&CFTOKEN=51078446) which is a RF remote for connection to the PC. You need to download the alternate software as the one that comes with it does not support XP.

This isn't a learning remote, but maybe what you are after.

Hi all,

I'm after a bit of advise, please. Having finally got my XP ha pc operating the pace ntl digital box (x10 keyfob remote for channel up/down, wireless fuji with TS for all the other functions).

What I'd really like is a wireless remote I can use to send commands directly (i.e. not via x10, and a lot smaller than the fuji) to the pc. Otherwise I'll have to start wiring up for ir distribution with a pronto or similar?

I was wondering if anyone has come across such a thing?

Being new to the group and ha, apologies if I've missed a similar topic in an earlier post or something really obvious.

Many thanks

Tony T
