Biggest issue for me is simply latency..

no matter what neat tricks you do, 2-way satelite always requires a trip to
(at least) LEO and back, usually GSO..

so you have a minimum latency in the order of 200-250ms, and usually
600-800. :(

Which renders the service useful only for surfing and e-mail. any real-time
usage, like streaming video or (in my case) gaming,  is basically not
possible.

:(

I just wish they would get off their asses and enable more exchanges. it's
about time we had a USO for Broadband.

Friend of mine has ordered a two-way sat connection from BT - not sure what
it is called, but is cheaper then ISDN. 650 installation charge though.
