I assume that the fact that the UK has the safest construction industry in
Europe (maybe the world), and the lowest death rate from electrical
accidents is solely a result of a conspiracy by manufacturers to sell extra
equipment.

Long-term readers of the list will remember my email address changing over
the years, as I spent most of my life in and around the construction
industry (with the last 18 months being an exception.)

I would ask anyone considering mocking Health and Safety legislation and
practice in the UK acquaint themselves with some facts before making
uninformed postings.
