We were hoping not to have to do that, as the house has recently been
redeecorated to our liking (surprisingly) downstairs.  I'd never get
approval to rip the house apart and redecorate downstairs, but luckily the
top floor is yet to be done, so I may be able to lay CAT5 and retro-fit X10
there.
