Re: Conduit installation
Hi Steve
Just had a look at your site was interested in
having a
look at that box sinker .It appears to make a nice clean hole ,havent heard
of
anything like that here in Australia .I see you took the dive and bought
Homevision ,i have just emailed an order to Rod Stephens of
digihouse for Homevision and a couple of modules to start with. How do
you
find comfort alarm system ?Here it is actually dearer than Homevision
.I
like the intercom feature and the x10 as well but as an alarm system i
believe the Australian alarm panels would be hard to beat.Im of course
biased a little as my good friend John Hola designs and manufactures the
Genesis
Alarm system which i use.

I have some pictures of the box sinker in
action.
Well worth the money, a bit messy though.
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/cooperhouse
then goto Home Automation on the top menu and Box Sinker on the side
menu.

Aidan,
IMO the box sinker is more worthwhilst than
the chisels - they are ok, but I finbd it more efficient to cut two
tracks up or along the wall with a normal flat sds chisel first, then
use
one of the conduit shaped ones to clean the slot
out.
