That is the BEST book I have ever seen for curries.

Thoroughly recommended.

Written by a restaurant chef so the recipes in there are like the food you
get at the local curry house, unlike the "Authentic Indian"
cookbooks that
you can buy which probably are proper indian recipes not the "tailored
for
the British palette" dishes we are used to.

The only downside is that the curry base takes a long time to prepare but
its well worth it. A good tip is to use a pressure cooker (without the lid)
as it is a massive pan and you can make a large amount of stock.

As an aside.....whilst cooking several of the recipes, it occured to me
that
white was not a good choice for the worktops in the kitchen but the stains
caused by Turmeric can be removed with Dettox. Spray it on and the yellow
stain goes pink and wipes off.
