I've had an overclocked PIII600 in my PC for over a year now (with a beast
of a heatsink fan combo on there - can't remember the make, but it could be
regarded as "exotic")

Except for running lots of games are there any major benefits for real
world
applications in upgrading?

I do run a model helicopter simulator which gives DX8 a hammering, but the
frame rate with a Geforce 2 GTS is more than acceptable.

Maybe I should just bite the bullet and buy the 17" TFT screen I've
been
promising myself, so Stuart can get his grubby mits on my 17" CRT.

Tim.
