Following such discussions in a different online forum someone made a CD
with
pairs of tracks, one the original CD-DA and one MP3 compressed and then
decompressed.
My wife and I only spotted the MP3's in 1/3 of the cases - worse than
tossing
a coin! The only other result in so far only got 50%. It's still to be
seen
whether any of the "golden ears" people do any better.
