Hi Steve,

I have an article on installing an AD10

Basically if you use a normal on off switch the light will be on whenever
you close the switch and when the switch is off, it will do whatever X10
tells it to do.

IT WILL NOT RESPOND TO X10 IF THE SWITCH IS CLOSED. Use a momentary switch.
