You can get hold of hole cutters for brick, they use them for ducting out
central heating boilers etc.  Should be able to hire them from most places.

8CM is a whopping hole (no carry-on jokes please  ;-)) Can the drill / bit
needed to to that be hired?
also
Do you have a stock number or something for=A0the split  aircon=A0(maybe

reciept??)
