Re: Split aircon unit, info required
Just seen it on www.hss.co.uk ...Dry Diamond
Driller £68+VAT for a day, don't know if this includes the drill bit
though.
I just looked at my reciept and there is a six
(or
so) digit number for each product i bought. Can anyone tell me the number
for
the split unit??
Thanks guys
Neil

You
would probably need a diamond core drill from your local HSS, not sure what
size is closest to 80mm
DesG
8CM is a whopping hole (no carry-on jokes
please ;-)) Can the drill / bit needed to to that be hired?
also
Do you have a stock number or something for the split
aircon (maybe on the reciept??)
thanks
Neil

How big a hole is required for the
pipe between the units?
<<8cm dia according to the
book.>>
Does the outside box require electrical
connections too?
<<Not exactly ... it does but these are
carried in the 2m "umbilical" that connects the two
units>>
