James, I also use that setup: I find it better to simply provide the
clients
with details of your ISP's DNS Server's via DHCP...
if you a DNS internally, for your local hosts, then deliver the DNS Servers
in order of Preference: Your Own, the ISP's Primary, ISP's Secondary..
Much easier, and work flawlessly.
oh, make sure your DNS Server Doesn't do any referralls itself.... it
should
be self conatined to avoid delays..
