Phil has spent a lot of time over the last couple of days looking at this
baby ...

...and I was mightily impressed with the speakers when I tried audio this
evening given that the thing is so slim.

The only thing I'm not too keen of is the base gets *VERY* hot and some of
the clip points where the laptop fixes to the base unit seem a bit - well -
like bent bits of casing! (Which of course they are but Sony wouldn't do
something like that that didn't look pretty.)

One or two things I couldn't find out (apart from the battery life which I
hope you can let us know) which you might be able to help with.

1) What's under the slightly odd shaped "plastic bung" on the
bottom of the
laptop towards the back?

2) Does your keyboard fit securely? The one on demo at my local store is
loose but the SODIMM seems to fit under there.

3) Is it a standard SODIMM that it takes? I might want to put 256Mb in
there
and install Win2k.

4) What does the base station dock give you that the travel dock doesn't?

5) Does the travel dock come with a second PSU?

I think I have to get myself one of these!

Phil
