there also an issue that the XP software really is licensed to a machine as
opposed the user?

in my opinion it's yet more of the same: the typical user will now use

of the product rather than <5%
It is not any easier to use, all the menus have been moved around
(again)
and it consume hideous amounts of resource. I have reverted back to
Office
2K.
As for WindowsXP ? don't know yet: I have not installed it in any
test
environment.
