Hi Mark,

I am postive you do. The post office also charge for admin when you pay duty and VAT. They say it is because they pay the duty and VAT for you to speed things up in getting the items cleared with customs. Mind you, £10 is a bit of a rip off as the post office only charge 6.50 admin. This ain't so bad if the item cost was high, but in my case the items only cost around 50 quid and with the duty and VAT I get stung 17.50 a time. Ouch..!!

As well as VAT and Duty there is a £10 "Administration" fee for DHL.

Am I obliged t pay this?

M.
