Thanks Rich
I'll see what I can find out in work...if they had the unit, they should
ha=
ve the disk / manual / lead anyway!
I don't understand what you mean by by pods? this has a row of input and
ou=
tput terminals that can be wired to relays etc.
thanks
Neil

I've spent the last 3 years as a Automation/Software engineer programming=
a range of PLC's
Mitsi, Tele, AB, Siemens.
One of the problems is the cost of the pods required to talk t them.
I will ask at my old work place (I resigned from my current work place ye=
sterday, so I'm not going t get any help from them!) for the serial cable
=
details.
Documentation and software might be an issue. There is a chance there mig=
ht be an old licance/documentation hanging arround.
What PLC's are you used to programming? I might be able to c me across an=
old box that you might be more familular with.
Regards
Rich

Has anyone used a PLC for automation at h me? I've rescued an old Telem=
ecanique TSX-17 off the scrap pile in work and I am looking for
documentati=
on and software to program it from my PC.
Can anyone provide ANY useful information / experiences with PLC's?
thanks
Neil
