yes thats entirely feasible if you had the time or the inclination to do
so.
The mp3 player software is proprietry code and hence there is no shipped
source code or an ability to recompile with extra functionality. You would
need to use a GPL mp3 player or similar and port to the receiver. Although
this is possible its a lot of work hence why the remote control might take
a
fair old bit of time. I am intending to take a more than cursory look at
this stuff but definitely no promises.
