Its more to do with the application protocol that is the problem. Some
applications such as MS IM, have problems with NAT, I believe the problem
with IM is that is has the ip address in the packet. You are probably not
running any NAT unfriendly applications across your router?

I am a bit puzzled.....
I am currently using a Intel Express router 8100 on ISDN, it has NAT
enabled
and I have not had a problem with any app, all my ip addresses home side of
the router are private and shields up site reports my network is working in
full stealth mode.
Is it that I have a "good router" if not why will broadband
routers have
problems with NAT
