I know this is a little late but the SirCam virus will search an
infected machine and send documents on that machine to all users in
the address book. My guess is that "Brad" go infected, it seached
his
documents and sent itself out as one of those names. The fact that
he/she did not attempt to cover their tracks would suggest that they
were unaware...
