personal advice as I haven't had to clean mine yet. However I am on a
Mailing
List for my DV cam and the general opinion appears to be if it isn't
working
properly anyway then you cannot do much more damage by cleaning
it.
If
you look at this site.....
then
type cleaning in the keyword search it will give you several links to
cleaning
information. Much of this information is specific to the TRV900 however I
see
no reason why the cleaning of capstans etc shouldn't apply to any
camcorder.
BTW
if you are into DV cams then the site is worth a look
anyway.
