Oh poo, no support for my Aero so I can’t even try it and it uses a MIPS processor so there won’t be support either!

 

Trouble is of course the limited IR send strength, so it looks as if the ProntoPro may win yet – but not on price!

The new ProntoPro looks excellent but it's just too expensive.  I've found 'SkyCommander' which is a freeware colour remote control program for H/PCs running winCE.  HP Jornada + other HPs are supported, but unfortunately handhelds and palmtops which use MIPS processors can't be supported (eg. ePods, Cassiopeia etc...)

 

Looks quite impressive.  Have I found a serious alternative to the pricey ProntoPro???
