After about 3 years of use, my Panasonic DV camcorder is starting to play up. It's partially eat a tape last week though I got it out OK.  Now playback is being effected with the picture showing breakup.

I'm pretty sure it just needs a good head cleaning but I know some head cleaning tapes can do more damage than good.  I've been asked to video my cousins wedding (informally) in about 10 days time so I need to get this sorted.

Anyone got any experience or advice?

Thanks

M.
