My guess here is that he's running Win2k - Is that right?
I suspect it's his provider that's the problem... can you provide more
info on them - Can you connect to PWS on his machine if he runs that?

A mate is going up the walls because he cannot connect to his machine over
the Net via VNC etc. We have tried another remote-control app as well as
shoutcast server and nothing works.
It's like there's an invisible firewall acting on his PC. Last night we
closed everything down apart from Explorer and ICQ and got him to run the
"Shields Up" thing. Below is the results of the ports scan.
Anyone any ideas?
