Seems that the pronto is a bit picky about its serial ports. I
installed ProntoEdit on two NT4 machines at home, but it only
recognised the serial ports on one. Whether the problems with the
Win2K system are related is anyones guess. Frustating, but at least I
can edit my ccfs now.
