No relation that I'm aware of....

I've actually had an old Ferguson Videostar VCR for donkeys years that has PIP built in (plus a load of other digital "effects") - from some time in the eighties when there was a fad for putting loads of pointless digital effects (Strobe, mosaic, inverse, outline) etc, all very ala Top of the Pops, into VCR's as well as in the camcorders....

It is also pretty dire PIP picture quality, - much as one might expect really I suppose.....

Any Euros above? - I used Outlook Express to send this message, (with send options set to Plain Text), normally I use IE/Hotmail web. I've only noticed funny things happening with Euros recently since I've "upgraded"   :-o  a couple of my machines to Windows ME & IE 5.5

PPS. Perhaps if we wait a little bit longer you couls add PIP functionality to your KAT5 units??   ;-)

Hi Paul,

I have actually got a PIPview that I bought about 6 years ago for 89 quid.

Its Ok but the quality of the inset picture is a bit grim.

It has a built in tuner, 3 AV inputs and you can put the picure in any of 4
positions and swap them at will. I just liked the thought of having it all
integrated into the TV ;-)

BTW.  Your post hasnt got the Euro symbol now.....but it appeared in my
reply to Steve Gordon .... any relation ? His posting was in RTF not plain
text and showed up fine before I replied !!!
