I have a canon camcorder (uc5000) which I am attempting to set up with webcam32/homewatcher. Unfortunately after about 4 minutes on record pause (streaming to pc) it switches itself off.

I am looking for ideas to keep it on.

I tried x10 supply module off/on but it will not be controlled by power supply.
Another option is to put ir signal into comfort and use it...

Any other suggestions welcome...

Campbell
