With a little inside knowledge, not at the store chain you mention. Items under 20 quid simply hit the skip at the back of the store.
Of course.... as it is still under warranty, the obvious thing to do is take it back. The *assistant* probably wont even know what it is for, let alone how to test it :-))

Hi all,
 
I was wondering if anyone has had problems with LM modules. I have one which will not respond to codes, I tried changing the fuse to no avail.
 
Is there anything I can look at/fix inside or should I just return it to Homebase (approx 9 months old) if I can find the receipt.
 
I also had a hardly used cm12 unit die on me recently which Homecontrol replaced.
 
Am I just unlucky..
