As it seems this is now officially the interesting internet news list
(?!?), some of you may be interested in http://www.namezero.com , free
.com, .net and .org domain name, unlimited email forwarding addresses
(anything@xxxxxxx etc), and web redirection. Only catch seems to be
the banner frame at the bottom. Unlike freenetname, they also have a lower
'getout' price ($15) if you want to take the names elsewhere at a later
date.

You can also have unlimited subdomains (they call them channels)- like
http://ha.orrs.net, which will hopefully
remain as a reliable pointer to
wherever my HA bits and bobs are currently living on the net (just curtains
and home wiring so far!) ... phew, managed to get a ha-related point in!

And, if nothing else, you can have a nice short email address!

Nigel (nigel@xxxxxxx !)
