Greetings,
My name is Peter, and I live in Canada. I've just become interested in
Home Automation. I ordered the IBM Home Director Starter Kit & Room
Expansion Kit and am using the software "Mousehouse" on my
Macintosh, but
have run into a few problems. Are there any subscribers to this list
using Mousehouse with a Mac? At first I was able to store both Events &
Macros in the ActiveHome interface, however now I am only able to store
Macros. Both the Events and Macros are downloaded to the ActiveHome
Interface, however only the Macros function. I've managed to get around
this by writing a series of AppleScript applets to control the various
modules around my house that are launched with a Cron application. I
would prefer not to have to do this seeing as I have to leave my Mac on
at all times. I was able to write an Applescript to store a single event
in the Active Interface, but I'm having trouble writing an AppleScript to
store multiple Events.
I would like to know if someone can help me with the following:
1. Any ideas on why I can no longer store events in the ActiveHome
Interface?
2. Can someone help me write an AppleScript to store multiple Events &
Macros in the ActiveHome interface?
Many thanks in advance.
Peter
