Re: X10 reliability

This is on the leccy boards side of the consumer unit. We basically share
the same 1" to 1 1/2" dia cable from the street this loops in and
out of my
main fuse block.
In from the street and out to neighbours assuming the one on the end of the
terrace doesn't have it own this would make three houses (1 six bed house
&
2 pairs of flats) on the one cable.

As my house is on 3 floors, some cable lengths in my property will be
greater than that to an appliance in the neighbour property. Phew does that
make sense!

So following Keith's cummulative theory. I assume as these are terraced
houses and over distances involved my neighbours downsteam could be eating
up my signal. This would make sense of more appliances being used in the
evening = problems mainly in the evening.

I guess i need some kind of X10 isolator ? Keith ?

Steve.
