I wouldn't have thought so, but I've not yet tried a full system
myself... It might fail due to noise induced on the cable, but I'd
expect it to work fine.  Mine will be similar, with about 10m from a
typical receiver (in a PIR) to 'wiring central'.

Cable lengths are usually a problem for:
Noise pickup- worst when the circuit is high impedance- these aren't
particularly
Capacitance- worst at high speed- this link sends demodulated data
which is pretty slow
Voltage drop- worst at high current- this link doesn't have much
current flowing.
