Showshifter (the software that turns your PC into a type of TiVo Personal Video Recorder) can now link with DigiGuide (the UK TV listings app) to provide a powerful recording system.

I have found Showshifter to be a tad unstable (it's still a beta) but it shows great promise and is well worth a look.

DigiGuide 5
ShowShifter and DigiGuide now talk to each other. Set recordings and programs to watch in ShowShifter from within DigiGuide. If you're in the UK or Ireland install this application. Right click on a channel or a program in DigiGuide will give you the option to record or watch the program.
